Of the President of the United Republic entitled the Presidential Succession Act

 

By the President of the United Republic: A Proclamation

I MATTHEW CORALLIS, President of the United Republic, pursuant to the power vested in me by the people of the United Republic of Corallium hereby enact the following document as law of the United Republic. IN WITNESS THEREOF, I have hereunto set my hand this twenty-fourth day of December, in the year of our Lord two-thousand and twenty.

 

Short Title and Table of Contents
(a) Short Title—This Act may be cited as the “Presidential Succession Act”
(b) Table of Contents—The table of contents of this Act is as follows:

TITLE I—VACANCIES IN THE OFFICE OF PRESIDENT

Sec. 1001         Vice President to succeed the President
Sec. 1002         Vacancy in office of the Vice President

TITLE II—AMMENDMENTS

Sec. 2001         Amendment of Article II of Contingent Constitution of the United Republic (Presidential Proclamation III)

TITLE I—VACANCIES IN THE OFFICE OF PRESIDENT

§1001 Vice President to Succeed the President
Should the President die, resign, or become otherwise disqualified from office as prescribed by any law of the United Republic, then the Vice President shall become the President of the United Republic until the next Presidential election.

§1002 Vacancy in office of the Vice President
Should the office of Vice President be vacant, or the holder thereof be deemed unfit or be disqualified to hold the office of President by any law of the United Republic, then the officer of the United Republic who is highest on the following list, and is not otherwise unfit or deemed disqualified by any law of the United Republic shall act as President: Secretary of State, Attorney-General, Secretary of Defense, Secretary of the Interior, Secretary of Education, and Secretary of Health and Human Services.

 

TITLE II—AMMENDMENTS

§2001 Amendment of Article III of Contingent Constitution of the United Republic (Presidential Proclamation III)
Article III of Government Departments and Cabinet Officers of the United Republic (Presidential Proclamation II) shall now read:

The Vice President of the United Republic shall be the popularly elected office responsible for supporting the President of the United Republic. The Vice President shall also serve as a member of the Cabinet of the United Republic.

URJ20120005 BY THE PRESIDENT OF THE UNITED REPUBLIC OF CORALLIUM: A PROCLAMATION (CONTINGENT CONSTITUTION OF THE UNITED REPUBLIC)

PRESIDENTIAL PROCLAMATION III I MATTHEW CORALLIS, President of the United Republic pursuant to the power vested in me by the people of the United Republic of Corallium hereby proclaim that the following articles be the supreme and foundational law of the Republic for the period in which it is relevant as determined by myself, effective upon the date of proclamation:- ARTICLE I The United Republic of Corallium shall be one unified Nation made up of the several constituent cities and territories as incorporated by authority of the President.
