URJ20120004 BY THE PRESIDENT OF THE UNITED REPUBLIC OF CORALLIUM: A PROCLAMATION (GOVERNMENT DEPARTMENTS AND CABINET OFFICERS OF THE UNITED REPUBLIC)

PRESIDENTIAL PROCLAMATION II


I MATTHEW CORALLIS, President of the United Republic, pursuant to the power vested in me by the people of the United Republic of Corallium hereby proclaim by executive order the articles as follows:-


ARTICLE I

The Department of State of the United Republic shall be the agency of the Federal Government responsible for the handling of diplomatic matters and of handling important information, insignia and records of the state. The Secretary of State shall be the head of this agency and serve as the chief diplomat of the United Republic.


ARTICLE II

The Department of Defense shall be the agency of the Federal Government to oversee the affairs of the various branches of the military of the United Republic. The Secretary of Defense shall be the head of this agency.


ARTICLE III

The Department of Justice shall be the agency of the Federal Government charged with upholding the rule of Law in the United Republic, defending the Government of the United Republic in legal matters, and to advise the Federal government with regards to the law. The Attorney General shall be the head of this agency and the chief law enforcement officer in the United Republic.


ARTICLE IV

The Department of the Interior shall be the agency of the Federal Government responsible for the maintenance and administration of Federal lands and parks, the construction and administration of transport links, and the administration of Federal monuments, landmarks, museums, or other places of significant cultural or national interest. The Secretary of the Interior shall be the head of this agency.


ARTICLE V

The Department of Education shall be the agency of the Federal Government responsible for the construction and administration of schools, tertiary education institutes, and related educational infrastructure within the United Republic. The Secretary of Education shall be the head of this agency.


ARTICLE VI

The Department of Health and Human Services shall be the agency of the Federal Government responsible for the construction and administration of hospitals and other places or systems of healthcare provision. The Secretary of Health and Human Services shall be the head of this agency.


ARTICLE VII

The Navy shall be established as a branch of the military under the control of the Department of Defense to protect the maritime interests and territories of the United Republic. The office of Admiral of the Navy as the chief officer of the aforesaid branch of the military shall be created.


ARTICLE VIII

Each of the aforementioned departments shall have the power to determine their own internal administrative affairs, the appointment of non-secretarial staff, and determine the symbols of their department with the consent of the Secretary or head of the department as determined otherwise.

PRESIDENTIAL PROCLAMATION III I MATTHEW CORALLIS, President of the United Republic pursuant to the power vested in me by the people of the United Republic of Corallium hereby proclaim that the following articles be the supreme and foundational law of the Republic for the period in which it is relevant as determined by myself, effective upon the date of proclamation:- ARTICLE I The United Republic of Corallium shall be one unified Nation made up of the several constituent cities and territories as incorporated by authority of the President.
